A Celebration of John Toews

#WWJTD? (What would John Toews do?)

Starting in 1982, John Toews helped to fundamentally shape the Comparative History of Ideas (CHID) Program at the University of Washington.

The celebrations: April 8th and 9th, 2016

In honor of his retirement, CHID came together with UW’s History Department to celebrate John, his work, and his amazing legacy. The events consisted of a Friday afternoon symposium followed by a formal dinner sponsored by UW History, and a Saturday evening party sponsored by CHID at the Columbia City Theater.
